CUSTOM DOUBLE DREAMSCREEN

The most important factor with a custom-manufactured Dreamscreen is determining the height you need the door.  The type of mount will dictate the height of the door.  Based on whether the Dreamscreen will be face or flush mounted, refer to the diagrams below (click on the image for a full size view)  Go to Mounting Diagrams for even more info.

The double Dreamscreen comes with 80" wide track, unless a wider opening is specified.  If the opening is less than that (doubles are typically 60" to 72" wide), the track is simply trimmed to the proper width.

 

This door is available in two standard colors (White, Bronze) and four optional colors (Black , Sand, Hunter Green and Crème).  We can also custom match virtually any color. The colors here may not reproduce accurately on all computers, but are intended to give a close approximation.

On custom doors, different screening materials are available, though standard charcoal is recommended.

Besides thresholds, there are two optional accessories available with the double Dreamscreen.  

  • First is a set of stop pins which will allow on of the two side to be held in place while the other is opened and closed.  This is most useful for wider doubles (7ft or more), and very highly trafficked areas.
  • Also available is a stainless steel latch which prevents double from be opening from the outside.  It is important to note that Dreamscreens, like any screen doors, are NOT security doors.  The saying is that the latches will only keep the honest people out!
